Helton, Nicholas “Nick” Christopher
Passed Away:

Nicholas “Nick” Christopher Helton, of Rosebud, MO, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the age of 21 years.
Nick was born on December 3, 1988 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert L. Helton, Jr. and Kathleen M. (nee Parker) Helton. He was a 2008 Sullivan High School graduate. Nick enjoyed working in concrete with his father for Terry Schatz Construction. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working with others. He was known as a quiet and very likeable individual. Nick enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting deer and fishing. He loved to tinker and could fix almost anything. He valued the time he spent with his family and nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his father, Robert Helton, Jr. of Sullivan; his mother, Kathleen Helton of Rosebud; a brother, Bob Helton III and wife Sarah of Bourbon; three sisters, Angie Henderson and husband Dale of Rosebud, Samantha Helton of St. Louis, and Moriah Helton of Rosebud; maternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia Parker of Rosebud; many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Betty and Robert Helton.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Sullivan Christian Church with Grady O’Dell officiating. Interment was in Holy Martyrs of Japan Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust fund at FSCB to help with medical expenses.
