Floyd M. Cuneio of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
Floyd was one of a set of twins born August 2, 1927 to the late Emery S. and Velma L. (Tyree) Cuneio at Elmont, Missouri. On August 20, 1949 he was united in marriage to Mary Jean Osborn and they were blessed with four children. Floyd honorably served his country in the United States Army from May 8, 1946 until May 10, 1947. Mr. Cuneio was employed by Paramount Cap Factory in Bourbon for 19 years, by First Assembly of God as church custodian and bus driver. He also drove a Sullivan C-2 school bus for 21 years. After retirement Floyd continued to enjoy cutting wood, Cardinal baseball and quail hunting. Mr. Cuneio was a long time and faithful member of Sullivan First Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Cuneio of Sullivan, three sons, Rev. Jerry Cuneio and wife Mary of Vulcan, MO, Larry Cuneio and wife Kay, and Dean Cuneio and wife Linda all of Sullivan, one daughter, Dianne Ruble and husband Randy of Cuba, 9 grandchilden, Michael Cuneio and friend Adrienne Grillo, Daniel Cuneio and wife, Andrea, Amber Cuneio, Dana Tutterrow and husband Stacy, Doug Cuneio and wife Amy, Zackary Ruble and wife, Heather, Derik Ruble and wife, Sarah, D. J. and Ryan Cuneio 5 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Zoe, and Mia Cuneio, and Ian and Sydney Tutterrow, a twin brother, Lloyd Cuneio of St. James, three sisters, Verna Carter and Frances Landing both of Sullivan and Anna Belle Bailey and husband George of Bourbon, brothers and sisters in law, Roscoe and Elva Tyree of Sullivan, Erma Schmidt of Rocky Mount, MO, and Marion and Delliah Osborn of Cuba, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Shelby Tutterrow, one brother, Russell Cuneio, and one sister, Virginia Allen.
Funeral Services for Floyd Cuneio were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from First Assembly of God in Sullivan with Pastor Jerry Cuneio and Pastor Kyle Phillips officiating. Interment was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
