Obituary for Gloria Patricia Timbs

Gloria P. Timbs, 75, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Bourbon, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Gloria Patricia Wehr was born on September 14, 1942 to Howard W. and Emily Mae (Sprague) Wehr in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in St. Louis and on July 19, 1969 was united in marriage to Billy Arnold Timbs. Gloria was a stay at home Mom, a caregiver by nature and truly a nurturing person. In her spare time, she enjoyed hiking in the woods. Gloria was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness. Her brothers and sisters in faith will grieve her passing along with her family.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Billy Timbs of St. Charles, MO; four daughters, Kim (Rick) Wessels of Festus, MO; Laura (Teresa) Euans of Murphysboro, IL; Jennifer (Jason) Balicki of Maryland Heights, MO; and Shannon (Frank) Thomason of Mansfield, TX; five grandchildren: Corey (Amanda) Powers, Meghann (Jason) Dosa, Ashley (Kristen) DePung, Journey and Myranda Thomason; six great-grandchildren: Skylar and Elijah Powers, Lilly and Tucker Dosa, Esme Thomason and Winona DePung; two sisters; Deloris Faulkner and Betty Wehr; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Emily (Sprague) Wehr.

A Memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Sullivan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan and Bourbon, Missouri.
