Obituary for Charles w. Green

Charles W. Green, age 86, of St. Clair, MO passed away on June 28, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri.

Charles was born on August 21, 1931 to Olaf and Rachel Ivy (Sons) Green in St. Louis, Missouri. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1950 to 1954. Charles was united in marriage to Mary A. Brovillette on October 16, 1991 in Pevely, Missouri. He was employed as a commercial truck driver for most of his working years. Charles was a craftsmen and woodworking was his main hobby. He loved people and was a friend to many. He was a member of the St. Clair Elks Lodge #2651 and St. Clair American Legion #347.

Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Green of St. Clair, MO; his children, Jim Green and wife Debbie of Arnold, MO, Jennifer Linderer and husband Keith of Affton, MO, Jill Gosney and husband Dan of Festus, MO, Jo Ann Lee and husband Dave of Arnold, Judy Green Bliss of Emerald Isle, NC, Domenick Brovillette and wife Star and Phillip Brovillette, all of Kansas City, MO; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Amber, Heather, Danny, Matt, Daniell, Katy, Dawn, Andrew, Jackson, Aschley and Kyle; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Green, Kathleen Potter, Eddie Green, Louella Dees and Violet Hectorn.

It was Mr. Green’s wish to be cremated.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan & Bourbon, MO.
