Obituary for Peggy L. Hamann

Peggy L. Hamann, age 85 of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Life Care Center.

Peggy was born on September 16, 1933 to Claude and Druesilla (Gilbert) Morrow in St. Louis, Missouri. She made her home and raised her boys in the Stanton area. She was united in marriage to Bill Hamann on January 28, 1980, he preceded her in death. Peggy was employed as a Dietary aide at Life Care Center in Sullivan. Peggy was baptized on May 3, 1947 and was a long time member at Stanton First Baptist Church. She loved her family, attending gospel singing's and flowering gardening. Peggy will be missed by her family, church family and many friends.

She is survived by two sons, Ted Nichols and wife Marcie of Sullivan, MO, Jerry Nichols and wife Lisa of Bourbon, MO; daughter in law, Ruth Nichols of Stanton, MO; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Britton of Farmington, MO; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by three sons, Eddie, Terry and infant, Gary Nichols, her husband, Bill Hamann; parents, Claude and Druesilla (Gilbert) Morrow; three brothers, Earl, Herman and Eugene Morrow; two sisters, Ellen Lauchlan and Patricia Koeneman.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM, May 5, 2019 at the Stanton First Baptist Church with Johnathan Peregoy officiating.
